When I'm really focused on something, I put my head down and get to work. I’m not easily distracted (I live alone)…

By the way, when my kids were still living at home, they would wait until I was deep in my work before asking me for anything, because in those circumstances my answer was invariably “yes”— to avoid wasting time on arguments. I pretended not to notice their little trick…

My biggest focus killer at home is definitely my cat.
He loves to take over my office chair like he owns it… and honestly, he acts like he’s the one working from home 😅

For me, the biggest focus killers are smartphone notifications and the constant temptation to switch between tasks. Working from home blurs the line between personal and professional time, so every ping feels like it deserves immediate attention. I've started using app blockers during deep work sessions and keeping my phone in another room — it's made a noticeable difference in productivity!
