What I prefer is a very large project with a comfortable deadline so I can squeeze several small ones in the meanwhile. I haven’t had one of those for some time…

My preferred project size is one that I can complete in just one or two days. How many words that is depends on whether it's translation, post-editing, revision, etc. and on the field etc. Of course, I also enjoy jobs that go on for weeks, if the job is easy.
