As for delays due to terminology research, for me these are not delays, they are intrinsic to the activity and are probably what I like most about translation – the feeling of having found the right term. It has happened to me that on the delivery date I still haven't received a response from the client to some questions. In that case, I deliver anyway, noting that such and such pages need to be reviewed later. Since I don't work with CATs, I'm also free of those problems. Now that work has been scarce, I would really like the workload to cause me problems, but in any case, I've always been a good time manager... ▲ Collapse
