Any relevance (or lack thereof) for a language professional network aside, isn't this question a little too personal? The internet has no business knowing about my medical history, including flu shots.

I talked to a doctor once and he said they just predict the type of flu in the next year. If you get vaccinated with the wrong type, it won't do ****.
I was vaccinated last October against influenza and COVID-19 at the pharmacy nearby.

This is beyond irrelevance - polls like this one, of which there are many, are a clear and present laugh in our faces, open mockery and trolling, and a total lack of any respect for anyone signed up to this "professional" platform.
Being a part of Proz, paid or not, is becoming an embarassement. Proz keeps hitting rock-bottom. Nobody on Proz side gives a fly about these stupid polls while we keep feeding the trolls of human or non-human origin.

Some very serious Russian translators who, by the way, had never touched Proz with a barge pole, came up with the term "Prozt...tes" about 12-15 years ago when the decline in quality and rates became painfully obvious and little has been done about it. Years 2012-2013 are the last ones during which many of the most valuable, knowledgeable and respected Russian members quit or almost quit visiting Kudos.
In the very beginning (first time I registered in 2002) Russian pair had a great crowd here and people were excited and full of hopes, some of which had actually materialized - it's been a lot of fun, a lot of real help, interesting questions and answers, heated but largely professional technical and literary discussions. Some interactions had even developed into personal friendships. I've attended the first Proz conference in Oxford and personally had organized 4 powwows - 2 in St. Petersburg, and two in Ukraine (Kyiv and Kharkiv) when I was working a 3-lateral space project back in time. Some connections have never been broken.
Old memories still keep me here for chatting on breaks but nothing lasts forever Maybe I'll stay for as long as I keep working and having my breaks with nothing better to do to stay awake during night shifts Unless I get banned for disclosing the term...
In that case - my very best to everyone! ▲ Collapse

When is ProZ going to stop posting these downright inane poll questions and get serious about all the things that are wrong with the site?
It's ProZ that needs a 'flu jab (and inoculation against a few more serious diseases wouldn't go amiss)...
| But they're achieving their goal... | Feb 7 |
...because we keep the place alive by actually caring and sharing our thoughts.
Maybe we should all just stop.

Define 'wrong'?
It seems that WHOEVER is currently running proz.com has their (its?) own 'custom made' definition of that term.

Agreed. Someone call the doctor! ProZ isn’t feeling so well... flu shot optional, bug spray mandatory!

No, I haven't. Being young(ish), thin, no diabetes or high blood pressure, I'm not in a high-risk group for getting a bad dose of the flu. Apart from that, I'm skeptical about its efficacy.
