It's the very first thing I check when I’m contacted by a new client, reading carefully (meaning with a pinch of salt) all comments (positive and negative). I also check elsewhere (LinkedIn, Payment Practices, TC, etc.).

Definitely yes, this is the first thing I do when a new client contacts me. Also, I take it seriously. I don't work with clients who have negative reviews. I feel that working with them will be kind of a "risk".
I clicked on "No" on the poll by mistake.

I cannot really take the BlueBoard seriously since there are obvious instances of fake ratings given, usually fake positive ones. This is especially egregious when an outsourcer that used to receive mixed-to-negative ratings suddenly has a wave of positive ones within a short(-ish) time frame.
That being said, I do check the BB for any new potential customers I encounter. And if they are not allowed to post jobs even here on ProZ, that's a very clear no to me.

I've found that a Google search for "agency name" ProZ Blue is the quickest way to see if it's on there.

Yes, if they are not on the BlueBoard, thats a red flag!

I don't track them, except for one where I accidentally clicked on this feature, but I always check a new potential client on the Blue Board. I've also always read the peer comments, starting with the worst ones. (As I'm still considering whether to become a member again, I can't read them at the moment).

Yes, it is an easy to do, so why not we do it whenever we are contacted by a potential client.
Blue Board is there for a good reason.

Many small agencies may not be on the Blue Board at all, or they may be present without any reviews. This is not a red flag per se.
