I don’t think my productivity is affected by the weather. I lived in Brussels for 30 years where the weather is known to be cold, gray, wet and gloomy and since 2015 I’ve been living in Lisbon where we have an average of more than 300 sunny days but I haven’t noticed any change regarding my productivity…

When it rains very heavily here, my electricity goes off, and I have to wait until it dries out a bit before it comes back on again. This obviously affects my productivity a bit. But it doesn't rain all that heavily very often, maybe three or four times a year. | | | | Alex Lichanow Německo Local time: 17:32 angličtina -> němčina + ...
Before we moved into our house and I got my basement office/mancave, summers used to be a little tough on my productivity, but the perennially steady temperature in my basement has taken care of that.

I’ve certainly seen my productivity affected by the power outages and two “minor” floods in my area due to the heavy daily rain in Mexico City over the past few months.

While the high temperatures from March to May caused a few blackouts, July and August saw the heaviest rains, resulting in at least a full week without power and several others with intermittent outages. This has affected my daily translation output, forcing me to set longer delivery times, and virtually preventing me from committing to online interpreting as well. It has ultimately impacted my time management for other work-related activities. ▲ Collapse | | | | WolfgangS Francie Local time: 17:32 angličtina -> němčina + ... | Not in Lisbon | Sep 29, 2024 |

When living in Italy heavy snowfalls sometimes prevented me from reaching my office in Milan.
Now I live on the French Riviera and confirm Maria Teresas saying. Weather has never particularly affected my productivity, excepted when a thunderstorm causes a power outage. | | | | Zea_Mays Itálie Local time: 17:32 angličtina -> němčina + ...
I am very weather- or rather light-sensitive and definitely work better with good weather and when the sun is shining.
