Trados 2022 shows several important bugs and I often use the 2021 version.
So, I am not considering an upgrade to the 2024 version.

I am happy with 2022, and do not need the new features. I almost always work offline and do not use the AI and cloud features, where the main improvements are.
I am planning to buy a new computer within the next year, so will probably install the new Trados on that, but stay with 2022 until then.

There is no need for me to switch to Trados 2024 now. Maybe in a couple of years I will do that.

I resent the quasi-monopoly Trados has on the market, and refuse to use it.
I use MateCat. It's free, it's user-friendly, and has everything I need.
I do realize so many agencies work with Trados that many feel obligated to use it.

I am using Studio 2021 and I'm mostly happy with it, apart from its horrendous tendency to hog memory until it crashes. I highly doubt that they have fixed that in 2022 or 2024.
Also, I am explicitly not using anything with an OpenAI integration/plug-in. They do affirm that the plug-in can be uninstalled, but I have a hard time trusting RWS and I definitely do not trust the scammers and liars in OpenAI.

I already have upgraded to --actually purchased- Studio 2024 because I had no chance. A couple of agencies I work for require it, and my 2017 version remained outdated (no upgrade available for it). I purchased a 1-year subscription to see how it works.

I haven't used it for a while, my customers have either switched to MemoQ or don't care what I use. I still have a version of Trados I can use but I won't upgrade until there is a pressing reason to.

I use 2021. It works fine for my needs, so I don't see any reason to upgrade.
