This is a good example of how a sentence without context can lead to confusion. Let’s look at the whole paragraph:
«In the age of technological advancement, artificial intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of our daily lives and is revolutionizing industries across the board. AI/MT on its own is like an autonomous car: only suitable for very specific purposes where circumstances are easy to predict, but dangerous when let loose in everyday traffic.
AI/MT in the hands of a human professional is like the autonomous driving features in modern cars: it can help with parking, staying in the correct lane, adjusting speed, etc., but still requires the input of an experienced driver to achieve the right result (getting from A to B safely).

AI will replace certainly replace whoever punctuated that sentence, and it can't happen too soon!
