I bought a new PC two years ago, when the other one started being very slow after a few years of very good service. I don’t remember any upgrade since then…

Bought a new desktop computer in July 2019 to replace one bought circa 8 years previously. Replaced all RAM sticks and gotten a new 1 TB SSD in January 2023. Bought a new laptop last year (Windows 11 capable). Will have to buy a completely new CPU and motherboard for Windows 11, some time in future.

I configured and bought a new gaming and office computer in early 2023, though all things considered, the new machine was pretty much a downgrade compared to my previous one. The AMD GPU, while newer, is no better than my previous GeForce RTX 2080, I had to throttle the memory so it wouldn't be faster than the CPU, which apparently causes crashes, and Windows 11 is a sad joke after 10.

I don't know if this counts as an upgrade per se, but I have had my main PC serviced and reformatted within the last year.

A Lenovo Mini PC with Win 10 as auxiliary machine (I work on a mac Mini from late 2014 and it is still running smoothly - that's quality).
