Uninstalling Transit SP 9 for updating to SP 10

Apparently in order to install the SP 10 after the recent Windows 10
update I must first uninstall Transit (otherwise I get the error
message: Error loading configuration data). It is not possible to simply
uninstall Transit the usual way (Via Apps and Features), however. Any ideas on how to uninstall Transit SP 9 after the Windows 10 update?

Yesterday I had no problems to update from SP 9 to SP 10. But that was on the latest update of Windows 8.1 ...

According to Star support I'm missing Transit installation files. They linked me to an uninstaller program of their own, will see if that works.

Yes, the uninstaller file from Star worked.
