ENGLISH

This morning I received an unsolicited email from a Proz member in Italy of whom I've never heard and with whom I've never worked.

The email is headed "Collegamento sicuro condiviso da Lisa" and the message says that this person XXXX "ha condiviso la seguente PDF" with Google Drive.

This message was sent to 175 people. I would advise you NOT TO CLICK on the link, and to trash the message immediately.

Thank you very much for the advice Dec 30, 2015

I would suggest everybody to have a strong antivirus, also linked to the mail for any attachment, and keep your OS always updated (including Java and Flash related applications).
I know it may sound obvious but I have been reading that freeware antiviruses are no longer enough. Please be careful with what is called "ransomware".

--- my impression is that someone has succeeded in accessing the address book of the person from whose gmail address the message was sent.

I have already sent that person a message (to her alone) warning her of what has happened.
