New to OmegaT, using version 3.6.0_11. Can anyone tell me why the copious footnotes in my document do NOT appear for translation in OmegaT? Due to a tight deadline I decided to press on and get the bulk of the work done, but is there any way I can go back and work on these footnotes before I generate a final translation? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Look at the end of the document. They often (usually?) end up there. This is irrelevant to what you describe, but you should upgrade to the latest version of OmegaT, just in principle. It is called "beta" because the documentation is not thoroughly up to date, but the program itself is stable.

Just to be sure, check Options > File Filters > Microsoft Open XML > Options > and if Footnotes is checked.
