Community Rates feature Jul 19, 2006

If you click on JOBS/RATES you'll be able to see the range in your language pair. Hope this helps.
There's also a neat little feature called RATE CALCULATOR under JOBS.

Hi Gerardo,
We know there are many modes: consecutive, simultaneous, whispering, and a few others could be taken into account.
Besides, the duration has to be considered: half a day, full day, overtime...
Roughly speaking, I could say an acceptable rate for a full day of simultaneous is € 490.
Half a day is more than half the rate of a full day. An extra hour is two times what you get dividing a full day by seven.
You may contact me privately for more details.... See more

Frustrating rates Aug 22, 2006

In comparison with the rates you have mentioned, I feel frustrated from in my country Jordan, wehre I work as an interpreter, the highest rate I have ever got was 150 JDs per day (8 hours). That is around US$ 200.
