Landmark Preservation Area
The term "Urban Conservation" seems to have a large environmental component or even a focus, at least here in the U.S.
I used Radek's (and my) favorite tool with the results listed at links listed below.
Frequency of occurence on the Internet does not necesarilly indicate which term is the proper one. In this case, I think, the few "Landmark Preservation Areas" highlited on the Internet testify to the fact that there are not that many in existence, or, at the least, not too many having a website. :-)
