výzva k nástupu výkonu trestu

čeština -> angličtina Právo/patenty Právo (obecně)
Žádost o dodání odsouzeného do výkonu trestu odnětí svobody

Žádám, aby odsouzený ......byl dodán do výkonu trestu odnětí svobody do Věznice .....
Současně mu doručte připojení příkaz.

Výzva k nástupu výkonu trestu:
a) odsouzený vyzván dne ...

Ah, actually it does come up in US law, “surrender to serve his sentence”. Surrender, hand yourself in. Makes sense.
Pavel Slama May 14, 2021:
“Surrender to custody” is an interesting idea that I like, unfortunately “custody” is a more general term – other than serving a prison sentence, it could also be remand, or even just being detained in a police cell, etc. In general, the term does not exist in the UK (and I suspect in USA neither): instead of telling the defendant to go home and patiently await instructions, an English judge will bark a stark: “Take him down!” https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/judge-tells-man-youre-...
Stuart Hoskins May 13, 2021:
In the US at least, they appear to use self-surrender or voluntary surrender for the nástup bit, but the výzva is a bit harder to pinpoint (they use stuff like "notice" and "letter"). As for the UK, I've found "surrender to custody" if the convicted person had been bailed (maybe that could be used for the document per se?) https://www.legislation.gov.uk/nisi/2003/1247/pdfs/uksi_2003...

Martin is right. They do seem to come from non-EN-speaking countries. Perhaps a better option will come along

But what is strange... ...most of hits are native English media but describing a situation in a non-English country like Iran. No prison summons in the UK/US?
