Originally from the United States, I have been living in the Czech Republic since 2003 and have been satisfying my customers' language needs since 2008.

I am one of only a few native English speakers translating from Czech into English. My translations flow smoothly and read naturally as if they had been written directly by a native speaker. As an editor I have a keen eye for detail, and beyond correcting grammatical and spelling errors, I can suggest ways to improve your overall message and tailor it to your target reader. For large projects I can also create a specialized terminological glossary or a style sheet to ensure consistency in the future.

My specializations include environmental issues, the humanities, government and policy, and tourism as these are the fields I know best. I hold a master's degree in environmental studies and have three years' experience working in an international environmental NGO.
