I am a native (UK) English speaker with an MA (Oxon) in Russian & Czech (with Slovak) from Oxford University and I translate from Russian and Czech into English on a full-time basis. I am a Chartered Linguist with the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).

I have worked on projects for Android, iOS, Steam, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Video games that I have worked on and am currently involved with have been downloaded hundreds of millions of times on the aforementioned platforms and have enjoyed critical acclaim from reviewers and players alike.

In addition to video game localization, I have broad experience of translating marketing, sales, and PR materials, ranging from a website for a Russian real estate agency to an app for a leading Russian cloud storage company, among a wide variety of other projects.

Previously, I worked for four years as a teacher of Russian and Czech to college level, and therefore I have also accumulated specific knowledge of the terminology in this area of expertise.

I take particular pride in the production of accurate and correct English and always, if necessary, contact the client to discuss any issues arising from a text.
