Životopis
I am a native Czech linguist with a degree in translation and interpreting and a strong focus on translating creative text types from English, Spanish, and Slovak to Czech. I offer e-commerce translation, transcreation, copyediting, and audiovisual translation (mostly subtitling).

Since 2014 I have assisted many clients to enter the market, launch their products and address their target clients in an appealing way.

Mostly I help clients with translating texts related to marketing and e-commerce (toys, cosmetics, fashion, sports), tourism and travel, entertainment and media, documentary movies, feature movies and TV series, website localization and popular science.

To do so consistently, I use these CAT tools: Memsource, memoQ, Wordfast, XTM, Lucid, Ooona, Subtitle Edit, Visual SubSync, Aegisub, LexiQA.

I also provide simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, chuchotage, online interpreting (both remote simultaneous interpreting, RSI, and consecutive interpreting), and interpreting by phone. I have had a chance to mediate communication in various conferences, panels, workshops, business meetings, and webinars.

If I am currently not tapping into my keyboard, you will probably find me doing one of my passions, which is reading, photography, and traveling.
