spinal surgery
Proto v roce 2015 provedena druhá operace: Fixatio sec. USS, arthrodesis posterolateralis, deliberatio radicis. Ale ani po této operaci nedošlo k výraznějšímu zlepšení bolestivého stavu.
I'd prefer not to leave it in Latin.

root decompression
It's a surgery (usually a disc excision) to free up a compressed nerve root (the origin of pain).
Note from asker:
Thanks, Anton. I was beginning to think in that direction. I think it was the Czech word 'deliberace' I saw years ago! |

Lumbar decompression surgery is a method that enables the space around the trapped nerves to become enlarged. This then relieves the nerves of compression and brings relief of pain. The operation involves reaching the lumbar spine through a little incision in the lower back. Then, the specialist separates the muscles of the spine and removes a part of the lamina or ligamentum (thickened degenerated tissue) in order to expose the compressed nerve root(s). Finally, the elimination of the source of compression allows THE NERVES TO BECOME FREED UP.
(my addition: this is why it is called deliberatio in Latin because 'deliberate' means *to make* someone or something *free*)

I wish you never experience such crucial pain. It is literally as a stab in the back by each step :(((

Note from asker:
Thank you, Erzsébet. 'Deliberatio' in this sense doesn't seem to be classical Latin. I'd say it's 'Late Latin' or 'medical Latin'. |
No, but I happened to look in the dictionary of classical Latin to get some clues as to the meaning :) |
Wishing you a good recovery if you're getting those stabs in the back!! |
Discussion
Any further information about this will be welcome. I've seen the term 'HEDI surgery', but I'm not sure what this is or whether it corresponds exactly to 'deliberatio radicis'.
