Termín nebo fráze v jazyce čeština: Neboj se to rozštípnout/rozetnout/rozseknout

Prosím o radu s tímto výrazem. Má to jít jako doprovodný komentář k PF s fotkou dotyčné osoby ve středověkém brnění, jak drží sekeru přes rameno a chce něco rozštípnout. Angl. výraz má - stejně jako v češtině - mít oba významy (jednak s tou sekerou a jednak ve smyslu "vyřešit věci rázně/rázně se rozhodnout").

Tomu uzlu (ať už gordickému či jinému) bych se popravdě raději vyhnula, protože se mi nějak nezdá, že by středověký bijec se zuřivým výrazem sekerou sekal do uzlu :) Ale i tak díky za nasměrování...

Děkuji za všechny podněty. Fotku mám pouze v mailu, musela bych ji někam nahrát... Každopádně je na ní muž v brnění (autor PF) a sekeru má přehozenou přes rameno. Nicméně se tváří velmi sveřepě. Proto mi to evokuje to, že je odhodlaný někoho tou sekerou okamžitě setnout. A tudíž i ten druhý význam by měl myslím být něco okamžitě a rázně vyřešit, aby se to necouralo...

prečo nebyť trochu kreatívny; kreativita by mala práve v tomto prípade by mala byť na mieste. Mimochodm odkiaľ ste si istá že ide o odseknutie hlavy. Okrem toho akú má súvislosť to že Luskáčik je zvyčajne taktiež figúrka so šabľou

"To crack" can mean "vyřešit věci rázně/rázně se rozhodnout" and you can "crack" loads of stuff with an axe (you can use it to crack or to cut). I don't think that the fact whether it is complete or incomplete seperation is that relevant in here.

I believe that cutting the Gordian knot must have required loads of strength and energy anyway :-))), as well as it was a smart thing to do at that moment.. But sure I suppose it depends pretty much on the picture (as well as the audience - possibility that this pun would go unnoticed)

the knight on the picture is not actually going to cut some Gordian knot. He is just about to chop off one's head or something like that. That's why I looking for something that would both describe his possible activity as well as the other meaning :)
