I am an anthropology graduate with a master´s degree from Charles University in Prague. I grew up as a child in Canada, so English was almost my mother tongue for a couple of years. I also passed an A-level English exam during university studies. In 2011/12 I was studying at the Kushi Institute in Amsterdam, where I was enrolled in an English-spoken study programme. In 2013/14 I studied another English (online) programme at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, located in Boulder, USA. I also went to USA for the final conference of my studies. I think I have always had literary talent and spent several years writing poems, stories and novels. My biggest translation project up to date was translating a book about eating psychology for a Czech publisher (to be published soon).
