For those, who don't care to miss spec. Trados-commands of the numeric keyboard (like Alt* or Alt+), only seeking for a spec. character, can be helpful the command 'charmap', showing a tiny charactertable known from MS-Office-applications (e.g. Word). This tiny panel can you run if you type into Start > Run > combobox the simple command: 'charmap'.

Only now, after hours of copying and pasting my characters, I realized I had to press the NumLk key first... and now I can enter special characters and symbols. Great!
