Welcome @ll,
I'm looking for a simple, "step-by-step" guide how to merge documents in T-Stream Studio Editor.
The thing is: how to join a SINGLE *.lwo document, when it's being processed on two
different machines. Is this possible at all?

Welcome @ll,
I'm looking for a simple, "step-by-step" guide how to merge documents in T-Stream Studio Editor.
The thing is: how to join a SINGLE *.lwo document, when it's being processed on two
different machines. Is this possible at all?
T-Stream online help offers some advice on "merging files", but it's largely useless, as the instruction are both complex and unclear to me.
My question/request: when 1 document is used on 2 computers, won't I lose the translated part? Is there a way to safeguard myself against it? (it's not Trados, alas :-/ )
I've got this project that I can't handle myself, and I'd be afraid of losing some text.

Hi,
LWO files are just renamed zip files. Inside, you'll find a LES file, which is an XML file. You can open the XML and play with them in any text editor.
I suggest to do some tests before "playing around" with the actual project...
Regards
Marco
