Bio

Experienced in various fields,
contributing multi-disciplinary, convergent translation

As
you can see below, I have worked in various fields. People say you can’t be an expert
translator in many fields, which I think it’s half true. I’ve seen and participated
in many projects that require knowledge and experience in several fields. One
of them was regulations of an environmental department, which required certain
level of knowledge in legal and governmental field, along with some
understanding and background in ecology, biology and machinery, due to many
agricultural machines and tools mentioned. In another case, I handled a
company’s shareholders’ agreement, articles of association, media contents, in-house
contents, etc. The company being a medical startup, a certain level of
knowledge in medicines and biology along with an understanding in legal and
business field was required, where my experience in these multiple fields was
substantially helpful.

I’m
heading to this direction, which is becoming a convergent translator, and I’m
confident that I have the edge in this direction.
