Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Charlesp

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Charlesp Feb 22, 2016:
It is a very specialised "court," in that endast näringsidkare, Konsumentombudsmannen och vissa sammanslutningar får föra talan i Marknadsdomstolen.
Charlesp Feb 21, 2016:
Sort of a misnomer, as it's not really a court. It's a Swedish government agency - answers to the Ministry of Integration and Gender Equality. It is part of the judiciary, so not really accurate to call it a "Court" - even though that is its official name (maybe tribunal would be more appropriate).

Swedish term (edited): (FI &SV) marknadsdomstol
Selected

(BrE: gen.) Mercantile Court; (spec.) Commercial Court of the QBD

Gullberg's Dictionary: 'Swedish Market Court', albeit ambiguous for a street market court.

Example sentence:

Marknadsdomstolen är en specialdomstol som behandlar och avgör konkurrens- och tillsynsärenden, upphandlingsärenden och marknadsrättsliga ärenden

(1) This Part applies to claims in the Commercial Court of the Queen's Bench Division.

Peer comment(s):

disagree Charles Ek : There's an official use of "Market Court" at the links Daniel Löfström provided.

Obviously the asker is not after a lazy, facile, simplistic, meaningless and unimaginative answer.
disagree Charlesp : yea, but too specific. - these are institutions in a country outside of Sweden.// Re "Mercantile Court" an interesting thought, but the Swedish Market Court is a court of appeal, with very specific and limited jurisdiction - not at all equivalent.

Alas, the term of Mercantile Court - that corresponds etymologically and half-jurisdictionally and whose Mancunian etc. practictioners and judges are well-known to me - must remain posted for future BrE ref.

The Market Court

Om det nationella sammanhanget (Sverige eller Finland) är klart, bör det räcka med "The Market Court". Annars får man skriva "The Swedish Market Court" eller dylikt.
Peer comment(s):

agree Charles Ek : In the words of the Swedish Market Court: "The Market Court (Marknadsdomstolen) is a specialized court that handles cases related to the Competition Act as well as cases involving the Marketing Act and other consumer and marketing legislation."

Marketing Practices Court (or Tribunal)

It is is Sweden, then it is The Swedish Market Court - that's the official name. It is sort of a no-brainer:

See http://www.marknadsdomstolen.se/the-swedish-market-court
Its a special court in Sweden, which deals with cases relating to issues concerning whether various forms of marketing have been conducted in a proper manner.

However it is in in general (the asker hasn't made the effort to specify), then it would be called the Marketing Practices Court (or Tribunal).

Could also be a "Competition Court" (depending; but unlikely)

The Swedish Market Court is the highest court of appeal (a specialized court) that handles cases related to the Competition Act and cases involving the Marketing Act and other consumer and marketing legislation.

Also note: Marknadsdomstolen är högsta instans i mål som kommer inför domstolen. Dess domar och beslut kan inte överklagas.
