Comunque nel mio dizionario tecnico della HOEPLI ho anche trovato "papier cast coated" quindi lo lasciano in inglese.
Tuttavia, ho appena trovato questo sito MOLTO INTERESSANTE in cui ***papier couché sur chrome***

Comment: "Merci Frejou. Il n'y a pas qu'une traduction possible. Le Français évite en général les termes anglais là où il est possible d'opter pour un terme bien français et facilement repérable sur le Net. C'est le cas ici pour les deux premières traductions. Les emplois avec "cast coated" sont moins courants."
