: but you wouldn't see this in any half-respectable English-speaking publication/ In the taz - yes. But generally speaking, Zickenkrieg or e.g. "Sch**ße" are far more "acceptable" terms than their English equivalents. Compare Kerner with Wogan (chat shows)

Not sure - you wouldn't see it in the Times, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the kind of publications that run this kind of story
