German term

Einstreuaufgabe

German to English Social Sciences Human Resources
This is in a test of some kind to be taken by students.
The word questioned is in red above a chart of ownership of various technical consumer goods by private households according to social position. I take it that Einstreuaufgabe has nothing to do with the content of the chart, but rather is an instruction pertaining to the type of task it is on the test.
The translator left it in German. Maybe it doesn't need to be translated, but I'm the editor and I don't know one way or another -- nor can I find what it means.

Thanks!

or 'question for trialling (purposes)'
The examiners include these additional tasks to see if they are suitable for use in future tests.
Explained here:
Zusätzlich enthält jede Testform andere „Einstreuaufgaben“, also jeweils neu konstruierte Aufgaben, die nicht in die Bewertung eingehen, sondern lediglich zum Zwecke der Erprobung mitlaufen. Nur die besten unter diesen vorerprobten Aufgaben werden zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt als gewertete Aufgaben verwendet.

There will be 75 questions (70 exam questions and 5 trial questions) each covering a different syllabus topic. Each of the 70 questions is worth 1 mark, but the trial questions are not scored. The use of trial questions enables new questions to be trialled without affecting candidates’ marks.

additional task (no points given)

It seems that 'Einstreuaufgaben' are tasks for which no points are given. They serve to find out more about the suitability of a candidate for a particular job/examination.
