搜索re-patch phones，会让你看到这本书里的一句话。似乎有重新安装电话、重新将电话进行连线、重新架设电话的意思。

这个patch, 是指电话配线。电话接入到一家公司，会有个接入的房间，国外叫PBX room，在管理上上通常是IT部门的职责。

平常说话这样省略掉的情况不在少数，不过没法从字面上看出来。虽然IP电话一般都是连在电脑上，不需要UPS，但是电脑接着UPS呢。 :o)
