I doubt that this news may change your difficult life but, please,
remember that next Monday, September 30th, will be the international
translators day. Useless, I think, to waste champagne in such a
circumstance. However, the best way to celebrate it might be to have a
thougt/prayer, or whatever you feel it, for our colleagues who have left us

translators day. Useless, I think, to waste champagne in such a
circumstance. However, the best way to celebrate it might be to have a
thougt/prayer, or whatever you feel it, for our colleagues who have left us
definitely, and certainly, for all these fantastic people who, in the middle
of a war/conflict, have done their best to try to restore communication
between foreign peoples, as, for instance, the interpreters hired (sometimes
against their will) by all the armies in the world. These persons are true
unknown heroes. Please, don\'t forget them.
