The translation industry in Asia is constantly being discussed on ProZ, mainly because people in Asia in general don't seem to ask for nearly the same rates as people on other continents. They also seem to have a translation industry that functions in a completely different way. According to the limited information available, such issues will be adressed. Let's hope the outcome of this will be beneficial for people in China as well as for the international translation community.
