I am considering providing a seminar on Machine Translation (MT) software as a productivity tool from the point of view of professional translators.

Content:
I would plan to cover the following topics:
* using MT tools versus using TM tools (a comparative and combination perspective)
* how MT can fit into the traditional translation workflow
* MT dictionary building principles
* MT postediting

I am considering providing a seminar on Machine Translation (MT) software as a productivity tool from the point of view of professional translators.

Content:
I would plan to cover the following topics:
* using MT tools versus using TM tools (a comparative and combination perspective)
* how MT can fit into the traditional translation workflow
* MT dictionary building principles
* MT postediting
* hands-on practical examples from real production texts in using 1 or more commercially available professional/expert level MT software programs. Participants could bring their own sample texts as well.
* Question/Answer time about MT software/systems
