Hi everybody,

Everybody is obviously busy with preparation to ProZ Convention, but you might find interesting that next year XVII World Congress of the
International Federation of Translators will be held in Tampere, Finland.

Shouldn't ProZ Convention send some sort of greetings to all the participants of the World Congress? I personally think that ProZ and Proz-like online communities are the most current trend of translation world and therefore should be more acknowledged everywhere else.


To the Moderator of this Forum: I think one of Finnish translators post some information about the congress in her post on Finnish Assosiation of Translators and Interpreters. I hope this post will not be considered repetition.
