Source text - French Pour ma mère que je n’avais pas vue depuis ma naissance, le séjour de La Rochelle fut aussi l’occasion de la découvrir en entier. Je ne laissai pas, d’abord, d’être surprise qu’elle ne m’eût embrassée que deux fois, et seulement au front, après cette séparation assez longue ; encore ne devinais-je pas que ces deux baisers seraient les seules que je recevrais d’elle en ma vie. Je la trouvais aigre dans ses propos et impatientée des rires inconsidérés qui me prenaient devant les fantaisies de mes frères. « Décidément cette enfant n’est pas belle, dit-elle un jour devant moi à mon frère Constant, elle n’a que des yeux ; ils lui mangent la figure ; c’est une démesure fort ridicule».
Ce ne fut, cependant, que quelques jours après mon arrivée que ma réserve à son endroit devint une franche aversion : ce changement vint de la manière dont elle crut me devoir mener à l’église. Je n’avais jamais entendu la messe mais je sentais plus de curiosité que d’hostilité et, bien que je fusse allée parfois au prêche avec les Villette, je ne me croyais pas huguenote. Ma mère me mena à l’église comme elle m’eût menée au cachot : avec des menaces et une poigne serrée sur ma main. Je n’étais pas naturellement docile et ma nature comportait un fond de rébellion que l’usage de la force réveillait. Ma mère parvint, par sa méthode, à ce beau résultat que, sitôt que je fus dans l’église, je tournai le dos à l’autel. Elle me donna un soufflet ; je le portai avec un grand courage, me sentant glorieuse de souffrir pour ma religion. A l’égard de la messe, cette résistance ne dura pas car elle était sans fondement, mais je ne revins jamais de l’aversion pour ma mère que fit naître cette aventure.
Translation - Russian Если говорить о моей матери, которую я не видела с самого рождения, то время, проведенное в Ла-Рошели, позволило мне узнать ее во всей полноте. По началу я не переставала удивляться тому, что после довольно долгой разлуки, она поцеловала меня всего два раза, ... и только в лоб. Но мне тогда и в голову не приходило, что эти два поцелуя окажутся единственными, которыми она удостоила меня за всю жизнь. Ее слова мне казались язвительными, а когда меня невольно разбирал смех при виде чудачеств моих братьев, она выглядела раздраженной. «Да уж, красотой этот ребенок не блещет, - сказала она однажды в моем присутствии моему брату Констану, - глазищи-то у нее во все лицо! Какая же она нескладная, просто посмешище какое-то!»
Однако, мое сдержанное отношение к ней превратилась в откровенную неприязнь не раньше, чем через несколько дней после моего приезда. Причиной тому было ее представление о том, как меня надо было вести в церковь. Раньше я никогда не ходила на мессу, но относилась к ней скорее с любопытством, чем с неприязнью. Гугеноткой я себя также не считала, хоть и ходила иногда с Виллеттами на проповеди. Мать вела меня в церковь с таким видом, будто ведет в тюрьму: с угрозами и крепко держа за руку. Природа не наделила меня смиренностью, заронив вместо этого зерно непокорности, которая пробуждалась, когда по отношению ко мне применяли силу. Действуя таким методом, моя мать добилась одного: стоило мне оказаться в церкви, как я тут же повернулась задом к алтарю. Она дала мне оплеуху, которую я стойко снесла, переполняемая гордостью от того, что страдаю за свою веру. 2- Visite post natale :
La puéricultrice va à domicile et apprend les gestes quotidiens à la mère auprès de son enfant et l’assiste dans son rôle éducatif.
3- Consultation des nourrissons :
Dans des locaux répartis sur l’ensemble du département, c’est un moment d’écoute, de dépistage, d’accompagnement des mères dans l’éducation et la surveillance de la santé de leur enfant.

В специализированных помещениях, распределенных по всему департаменту, проводятся беседы с матерью ребенка, направленные на выявление заболеваний у ребенка; сопровождение матери в обучении и наблюдении за здоровьем ребенка.

Source text - English Breast cancer incidence rates are high in societies with a Western lifestyle characterized by low levels of physical activity, and by an energy-dense diet rich in total and saturated fat and refined carbohydrates.
Epidemiologic studies, so far mostly on postmenopausal women, have shown that breast cancer risk is increased in hyperandrogenic women, with decreased levels of plasma sex-hormone binding globulin, and with increased levels of testosterone and of free estrogens.
This paper describes the role of hyperinsulinemia as a physiologic link between nutritional lifestyle factors, obesity, and the developmentm of a hyperandrogenic endocrine profile, and reviews evidence that may or may not support the theory that chronic hyperinsulinemia is an underlying cause of breast camcer.
An hypothesis is presented, stipulating that breast cancer risk is increased not only in hyperandrogenic postmenopausal women, but also in premenopausal women with mild hyperandrogenism and normal (ovulatory) menstrual cycles.
The author suggests further investigation as to whether there is a positive association between risk of breast cancer before menopause and subclinical forms of the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and to what extent diet and physical activity during childhood, by modulating the degree of insulin resistance during adolescence, may or may not be determinants of a PCO-like hyperandrogenic endocrine profile persisting into adulthood.
