Source text - English Stroboscopy is a rather old method for studying movements in slow
motion.
In phoniatrics, stroboscopy is used for slow motion or still pictures of the
movements of the vocal folds during phonation.
In stroboscopy mode, image recording is triggered by the patient.s
phonation frequency. This triggering, using the frequency of the vocal
folds, results in an apparent standstill of the vocal folds for the observer.s
eye.
The footswitch permits a phase shifting relative to the voice frequency by
which various positions of the vibrating vocal folds can be observed in a
quasi stationary manner.
In addition, the imaging of the vocal folds can be changed (with the foot-
switch in toe end position) using a beat period of 0.5 s to 2.0 s.
This results in a slow motion picture of the vocal folds.
Translation - Norwegian Stroboskopi er en ganske gammel metode som brukes til å studere bevegelser i sakte film.
Innen foniatrien blir stroboskopi brukt til sakte filming (slow motion) eller stillbilder av stemmebåndets bevegelser under fonasjon.
I stroboskopi modus blir billedopptaket utløst av pasientens fonasjonsfrekvens. Gjennom denne utløsningen av stemmebåndenes frekvens, dannes et synlig og tydelig stillbilde av stemmebåndene.
Med fotbryteren kan en faseforskyvning av stemmefrekvensen innstilles. Dette gir muligheten til å observere forskjellige stillinger av det vibrerende stemmebåndet på en tilnærmet stillestående måte.
