I have been a professional translator for 18 years and I can assure you that there is absolutely no further context. This appears in an agreement to take early possession of office space to do work. There is an exhibit to the agreement that gives a very brief description of the work to be done. No details, no floor plans -only the phrase I gave you. Your answer regarding what "plateau" means is very helpful and that is what I went with.

I'm quite certain you MUST have more context — but maybe you don't realize it's relevant.

First of all, does 'plateau' appear anywhere else at all in your document (hint: it's easy to simply search for the word!) If so, from the surrounding context there, can you clarify what it might be referring to? As I said, usually in the context of multi-storey office buildings, 'plateau' is the word used to refer to a floor.
As for the 'armoire' bit, that is more tricky, and you may have to go for something all-embracing and non-committal. If you had any details of what was housed in it, or a floor plan showing it, then you might possibly be able to get a better idea — but that's probably being a bit optimistic!

Can you specify the type of "plateau"? Where is it lockated? Is it part of the control panel? What is included in the panel or box or board or cabinet. How is it shaped, where is it located?
