I have seen some automatic translation devices used on web pages associating "Safe" and "Sound" with "Healthy". GIGO = garbage in, garbage out. A multilingual MT'ed web page called the (Windows) Sound Recorder in several languages the equivalent of "Sane Recorder".
To me, it seems that this is either a safety device to prevent the emergency stop from being activated accidentally, or it's a safe emergency stop that won't cause any undesirable consequences, such as spilling whatever is being conveyed. Check your text, see if it fits.
