Arabic term

زرّدنا

Arabic to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature
Hi everyone,

This is from a North African text. Does it mean, 'we relaxed together?' Or 'we had fun together?'

كناّ عائلة، زرّدنا معا، وذهبنا في رحلات إلى البحر للأيّام

Thanks!

Maybe you can send her a private message so she can add her own answer
Note from asker:
Salma's answer seems to be the most appropriate for the context. I'm not sure how to award her points! Thank you Mowafak for all your help.
Peer comment(s):

agree salma fridhi : In Tunisia, it means 'we feasted together' as الزردة is used to refer to a form of local celebration of a spiritual nature, including a gathering of people .This varies from one region to another.
