Software Strings - Error message coming from server
The software string says:
The peer sent an unrecognized request
I am having trouble with the word peer, the context is translation of software strings for a product that involves a handheld device (iphone,ipad) and a server that is sending this text as an error message.
The Microsoft glossary uses the translation: "punto a punto", or "al mismo nivel", but not sure how those translations apply to this error message. Also, Peer is not "compañero" in this context.
