Description of centre of learning
Don't you just love to hate all these "espacios". This is a funded centre for research into a specific technology. The phrase arises as part of a report on the activities of one of the main sponsors who also stands to benefit from the research being done. Probably to be used to apply for other grants and funding.
Vanguardia is also causing me problems, unless I turn it around to use as an adjective.
This is a headline topping an article describing the centre and its achievements in more detail.
(I'm OK on innovación I think though!)
Interested to see ideas - I have one up my sleeve but would like reassurance that there are not more obvious/better alternatives.

Three possibilities. Especially given that this is a headline, I think it imperative that you eschew any kind of literal translation and instead concentrate on communicating the underlying idea in a natural and concise manner.

A place of innovation and discovery
I think 'place' is more natural than 'space' in English. Vanguardia means being at the forefront in developing new ideas, hence discovery.
Another option removing the need for 'space' or 'place' entirely:
