The Spanish here is strange, and my sense is that the intended meaning is that the course will include--or perhaps be entirely comprised of--the presentation of key subjects. When you really think about it, it makes no sense to say that "the course will have a format for the presentation of key subjects." Such a statement is nothing more than a tautology, since we would hardly expect a classroom course of any kind not to include a structure--or format--of some kind....
