You contradicted yourself - you just said that brands do act responsibly - as far as shareholders are concerned.

You could also ask if you would trust a drunk gambler to 'drink / gamble responsibly' ...

AI requires so much power that the big corporations are developing/buying/using dedicated nuclear power plants for it. I'm not sure whether the word "responsible" can be applied to AI in general.

That said, the word "responsible" can't be applied to our industries in general. There's always a lot of friction between making money and doing so responsibly. Hence the importance of regulation. Hence the (additional) horror the environment (among many other things) in the US and the rest

Hence the (additional) horror the environment (among many other things) in the US and the rest of the world is about to face now the Instable Genius has been re-elected.

If I'm feeling generous, I might be inclined to think that some smaller ones probably want to act responsibly, but whether they actually do is a different matter.
And as far as Fake Intelligence is concerned, I do not trust anybody using it to act responsibly, mainly because nobody knows or cares about what it actually does or might do. As long as the results are pretty/cheap/convenient/whatever, right?

In the poll about LinkedIn [https://www.proz.com/forum/poll_discussion/371266-poll_has_linkedin_ever_been_useful_to_you.html] I said I didn't trust in their algorithm nor their trackers, now I know why.
Thanks for the proofs, Zea.
