Ninaphia - there is a bug that we're working on. You will have access to all on-demand content for at least 90 days.

Julia Pedro - not sure what you're missing - I just pseudo logged in as you and was able to access everything - all the on-demand content, and all the recruitment posts etc. Simply click on the session tab and click the session you want to see and then scroll down for the on-demand content.

All ProZ.com members have access to all on-demand content irrespective of their attendance at the event, while non-members merely need to "check in" or attend just once during the week and they will have access to all on-demand content. Ninaphia - this is the bug we're working on. You have access to the content for the day you visited (Tuesday) but the system is not currently granting you access to the other days - that will be fixed today.

Just as Anne's post lets us imagine, I am pretty sure that most agencies would like to recruit for "source ALL > target ALL" language combinations, but since this is not possible, and since they are limited to publishing up to 5 or 15 job offers only, they have to make a choice, probably dictated by their most urgent and actual needs or to fill-in gaps for which they have no contacts yet.

This means, you probably could apply to any job offer, even if apparently it does not correspond to your language pairs. Then again, you also have a limited number of possibilities to apply within this Conference, so maybe you also should chase your favourite recruiters' profiles or websites and contact them the good old-fashioned way too, if you have used up all of your tries ;-)

I am on pacific time. I checked yesterday and thought I can watch the on demand videos after the event, but it turns out only ProZ members can get access to it. So the demand sessions are not free to attend with registration? Disappointed.

...At least in FR>EN. Although I had the right to express interest in up to 15, there were only 5 listed in my language pair/direction, including one for which I am not qualified (strictly legal translation) and one that is not really FR>EN but EN>EN. I must admit that this is a bit disappointing, as I have been fishing for new clients lately and was looking forward to the recruitment day to find some.
Better luck next time (and please do call on my services if ever you need them - no harm in requesting a quote)!

I am feeling a bit disappointed, now. The potential of this event is high, but is not targeting Interpreters. Efectiveness is close to zero for important pairs like English/Spanish.
It does not matter if we count with 15 chances to express interest in any of the companies, if there is only a couple of offers for interpreters.
This event should be repeated, next time focusing in the Interpreters portion of the profession.

I could not attend the proz.com day on 25th. I tried to access of the relevant on-demand content without success. I registered before the event. Does-this mean we can only access one hour after the presentation for the on-demand option?

Hello,
I'm on Pacific Standard Time zone.
Looking at the schedule, am I right to understand that the first two presentations can be accessed real time only?
"Managing Cross cultural project" etc. If so then it will be 3am on my time so I won't be able to attend.
I see the last 3 events are On Demand so I can access those events whenever I want next day?

You should be able to participate via smartphone. The streaming content (sessions) may be a bit large from a data transfer standpoint and may not be ideal on a smartphone, but you should be able to see all recruitment posts and express interest without problem.

Expressing interest will send the recruiter a link to your profile so that they can then communicate with you, and if desired review your CV - so no need to have your CV on hand or available to send - simply attend, and express interest in those recruitment posts that match your language pair and are of interest to you.

Next Wednesday I am having my eyes checked and I am going to have my pupils dilated, so I won't be able to see practically anything during the day, and probably during the next 48 hours. I will miss the recruitment day and I would like to know what I can do...will I be able to participate later???
