I was born in Prague, Czech republic. Later, I lived in Malta, where I passed 7 "O" level exams. I continued my studies in Prague and graduated from the International Baccalaureate programme and passed the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English exam.

Later, I studied fashion design and worked in the costume/tailoring dept. of the Prague Barrandov film studios. I also worked as the costume dept. interpreter and coordinator for the "Children of Dune" series. Later, I translated film and theatre scripts and articles for an internet magazine.

I occasionally design and program websites.

My chief hobbies are: historical costumes, mediaeval, renaissance and folk music, kathak dance and oriental dancing, cooking, travelling and my baby son.
