Hi!

My name is Erik Gärdekrans and I am a translator from Sweden, Stockholm. I specialize in medicine, engineering, travel and tourism and HR-related materials.

I started my career working as a basic nurse for more than 10 years, then educated myself to become a qualified high school teacher in English, German and Swedish. I worked as a teacher for 10 years, but during the last 5 years of my career, I have taken up translating.

Today, I am a full time freelancer and translate from English-Swedish, German-Swedish, Italian-Swedish, French-Swedish, Danish-Swedish, Norwegian-Swedish and Spanish-Swedish.

Last spring I earned the designation Cetified Translation Professional from the Global Translation Institute and this autumn I will study a Master's Program in Translation at the Linnaeus University in Sweden.

I am passionate about my work and a dedicated translator and communicator.
