Czech to English translations [Non-PRO]
Czech term or phrase: kyselo
a kind of sour soup.
d.bradley
English translation:sour soup
Explanation:
It is a sort of sour soup. I live at Krkonose mountains and here "kyselo" means a soup made of sourdough (yeast), with mushrooms and potatoes. What a previous person describes would be probably called "kulajda" here.

Explanation:
I doubt that there is an English equivalent to "kyselo". It is a dish made of sour cream and hard-boiled eggs, served with boiled potatoes. At least that's what we called "kyselo" at home (in Prague in the 1960s, 1970s.). So you have to take the Czech word, possibly with the English explanation.

    I'm a Czech kyselo eater.
