I imported a MemoQ XLIFF file sent to me. Everything was then seemingly identical to translating a Word file. When I tried to export the finished translation, all options were greyed out except "Export active document as plain text" which is of no use to me. How can I export my document as both a standard Word document and as a bilingual file?

MemoQ XLIFF File

If you imported a MemoQ XLIFF file, then you will be able to export just that file format. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that it is possible to import an xliff file and export it as an MS Word file at the end.

I'm afraid you cannot export it as 'standard' MS Word file (because MemoQ has no access to original MS Word file), but usually you can export original mqxliff as bilingual file. Go to the Translations tab. Right click on your file and select Export, then Export Bilingual - all options of bilingual export should be available. Good luck!
