I'm having problems finding the search and replace options in the "Search and replace" box. I open the extended version but can't find any button that takes me to any further options, like taking upper and lowercase into account. I'm using 8.3 in German, so an indication of where in the box a button can be found would be great.

Toggle buttons Feb 9, 2018

In both the Quick Search & Replace dialog and Advanced (accessed by pressing the button with the three red horizontal lines, each with a point on them), there is a toggle with an orange lower-case a and red upper-case A, which toggles case-sensitive on and off. In Quick Replace, Find Anything vs. Whole Words Only is accessed by pressing the button with the three horizontal dots. In the Advanced dialog, this selection is accessed with pull-down menus.

Simple Feb 9, 2018

How very simple, I was looking for a box with lots of options as shown in various online contributions - that was probably in an earier version.

Thank you very much.
