The Series A brings the school’s total funding to $NUMBER million.

FUND and angel investors were also part of the new round.
SCHOOL NAME previously raised a $NUMBER million in seed investment.
The money will be used to fund the rapid expansion of the school.
The school’s population has exploded 6 fold to more than 200 students in just under two years and recently moved into a new location that can eventually accommodate 1,000 students.
At that time, SCHOOL will graduate more qualified full-stack software engineers annually than Stanford and Harvard combined.

Launched in 2016, SCHOOL is free until students find a job.
There is no upfront tuition; graduates are asked to contribute a percentage of their future salaries for the first three years of their post-SCHOOL employment.
This enables students to benefit from the free tuition structure and focus on their studies, while also creating a virtuous cycle of alumni who pay it forward for the next generation of students.
The curriculum combines project-based and peer learning, so students help each other learn.
There are no lectures and no teachers.
Instead, tech mentors provide guidance to the students both on the curriculum and on their careers.
Students acquire practical skills and an understanding of theory through hands-on learning; guaranteeing that they possess the skills necessary for the technology industry's most demanding jobs.
In March, SCHOOL will graduate its first “cohort” of students, which are already working at companies such as Apple, Tesla, Docker, Dropbox, LinkedIn, IBM and more.

Harnessing the power of tech connectivity to keep busy HCPs abreast of the latest developments in a rapidly-evolving industry
China is a large country with healthcare systems
that have developed significantly over recent decades.
However, with its geographical size comes varied levels of medical service and knowledge between
different regions.
Diagnosis and treatment in cities like Beijing or Shanghai may be advanced, but the same isn’t always the case for therapy in outer cities and remote areas which do not have access to similar
resources.
To help doctors in these outer cities grow their knowledge and expertise in multiple myeloma therapy, XXX launched an online program that combines the latest guidelines, process recommendations from medical associations, and papers from key medical journals.
The content is structured in the form of modules which equip and improve an HCP’s ability to
diagnose and treat multiple myeloma.
To help maximise time in the day of busy doctors in China, the online program uses a series of pictures, animated cartoons and videos to share
knowledge from experts in the field, including reknowned academics in China.
Doctors are able to use their computers or mobile devices to access these lessons, and to complete them in short blocks of 5 – 10 mins.
The modules include questions at the end to help HCPs test themselves on what they have learned.
To date, the online lessons have been watched by more than 2000 registered HCPs in hematology, with promising results from their learning
performance throughout these modules.
Through these modules, XXX is addressing the unmet needs of different fields of therapy and using new technologies that are effective at
supporting our HCPs in China.
Such innovation will continue to be a key component in XXX’s commitment to advancing
the field of hematology.

Source text - English You are being asked to participate in this study because you are post-menopausal and have low bone mineral density. In addition, you must not have taken any drugs that have an effect on bone metabolism within the last 6 weeks. If you have questions about whether or not you have taken these kinds of drugs, you should ask your study doctor. If you have had bisphosphonates in the past, you have gone the minimum time without taking them to participate in the study (your doctor will ask you detailed questions about your past use of these drugs to determine your eligibility). Additionally, you do not have any conditions that might affect bone metabolism such as rheumatoid arthritis, Paget’s disease, or other diseases of this type.
If you agree to be in this study, you will be one of about 7200 people who will participate in this study at about 170 clinics in the United States, Europe, Canada, South America, Central America, Mexico, and Australia.
If it is determined that you are eligible to be in this trial, you will be randomly assigned (like flipping a coin) to receive one of two treatment options. You will receive either:
1. 60 mg XYZ 120 subcutaneous (under the skin) injection one time every 6 months, or;
2. a placebo (non-active substance such as a salt solution) subcutaneous (under the skin) injection one time every 6 months
XYZ 120 or placebo is given as one subcutaneous (under the skin) injection. You will also be provided with calcium and vitamin D supplements which you will take every day.
You will be randomized by chance to receive study drug or placebo. Your doctor will not be able to choose which treatment you will receive.
You will have a fifty:fifty chance of receiving study drug (XYZ 120).

1- Create the right tagline. Spend a full day with three or four of your top team members talking about how you want to be perceived in public. What is the emotional reaction you want your audience to have when engaging the brand and what do you want them to remember? Develop your tagline based on this discussion.
2- Stand out from the crowd. Think about who your audience is. What are your top competitors doing in terms of their site look and how they are expressing themselves? Look for some core commonalities, and simultaneously prepare to identify where you can innovate and differentiate.
3- Develop your company culture…And then do all your hiring and your onboarding with this culture in mind. Don’t bring on people who could destroy client relationships you spent months or years to cultivate.
4- Be patient with your brand. Take on every new outreach initiative with care. Think of it as your baby. Just as you wouldn’t start feeding solid food to a 3-month-old, don’t rush any of your outreach activities, whether they be PR, advertising, or marketing materials.
5- Be consistent. Think of your outreach as being interconnected, like a body. The brand is the brain. Public relations, advertising, marketing, and sales are all extensions of that brain, and they must be coordinated and aligned. The copy, design and language your team uses is must always be based off of the brand. Find people who capture the essence of your brand and use them consistently.
6- Get help. Branding isn’t easy. If it were, there would be a much greater number of stronger brands in the small business community. A professional can take you through the process so you see things more clearly, get a different perspective, and go about branding in a way that will allow you to reach your market more efficiently.
7- Put people first. The brand is more than the company. It is the executive team’s and the individual employees’ personal brands as well. Nearly everyone prefers working with businesses that are people-oriented and actually care about their customers. Be that company by embodying a people-first attitude in all that you and your employees do.
